We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for finance and accounting. This position requires a candidate to be proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and have experience working with the accounting software programme such as AJS (though training will be provided).
As a Financial Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including processing trust EFT payments, managing and maintaining business creditors, correspondents and sheriffs, liaising with auditors and suppliers, assisting in month-end procedures, maintaining financial files and records, and attending to telephonic and email queries and requests. You will also be expected to assist the manager with all departmental matters when needed and to perform other responsibilities in the department as required.
Key Functions
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
