Ensure that budgets and forecasts are appropriately done, and financials results track within budgets set.
Ensure appropriate control environment exists for financial systems and results reported are complete, accurate and valid.
Ensuring that tax calculations and all tax returns are done and maintained on a monthly basis. Ensure that all tax compliance related matters are attended to.
Ensure Compliance to all financial controls in finance area and thus to ensure a strong control environment
Key Responsibilities NQF Level 7 Qualification

A minimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in managing a financial control function in similar industry.
Sound experience with applying accounting practices and experience with IFRS and application of IFRS standards Due diligence processes.
Experience in Taxation and VAT submissions
Experience in tax calculations and submissions to SARS
Experience in setting up financial control processes over finance functions and experience in bank management.

Advance Excel skills
Experience in the insurance industry for tax related matters
Double tax arrangement analysis
