Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.
What will you do?
The successful incumbent will be involved with financial management of costs and recovery in respect of monthly variance analysis to support the budget process . The incumbent will also be responsible for monthly management meetings to discuss performance of cluster with Cluster Heads. Key to the success of this role is the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with Clients and Service Line Managers.
What will make you successful in this role?
- Budgeting and Forecasting for ITDEV Cluster
- Capture Licenses on CLM and perform auditors license reconciliation at half and year end
- Perform license recon per cluster Actual vs Budget variance analysis on monthly basis
- Recon of license budget for respective budget year.
- Develop and maintain transparency of IT cost and cost drivers
- Manage relationship with Clients/SLMs
- Management of provisions/accruals
- Translating financial reports to non-financial / IT technical people
- Identify trends and provide corrective action
- Financial process improvement and controls effectiveness
- Perform month end journals
- Monthly, half and yearend closing
- Monthly Reconciliation of Headcount and Debtors
- Matric
- Post Matric Degree in Finance
- 3 years experience within IT and/or Financial Services Industry
- SAP (CLM, Assets, Budgeting, P2P and SAP Accruals
- Advanced Excel experience
