Overall responsibility is assumed for the entire financial function for the Company. The financial manager is responsible for providing financial advice and support to enable management to make sound business decisions by specifically providing and interpreting financial information; monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends; researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance; developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk; conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities; management of company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems; liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out; managing budgets; supervising administrative and financial staff members; and keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- A minimum of 5 years related Financial Management experience with up to 10 years managerial experience. Previous financial accounting exposure in a Manufacturing setting.
- Minimum: A relevant Honours Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management or related field
Ideal: Qualified CA.
