Our client is seeking a dynamic, highly driven, commercial-minded CA (SA) with a proven track record in managing multi-faceted financial and administrative functions to head up the role of Financial Manager based in Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of the company’s tax compliance and relationship with SARS.
- Income tax and VAT compliance and submissions, month end reviews and variance reports.
- Preparing and submitting bi-annual and annual tax calculations.
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and co-ordinate annual audits.
- Compile Annual Financial statements by complying with IFRS and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Oversee debtors and creditors management.
- Provide operational support related to finance activities.
- Management of company information technology system.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
- Ensure compliance to financial regulations and internal controls at all times.
- Manage and develop team of financial and administrative staff.
- Administration of payment of salaries and benefits.
- Ensure governance and compliance to relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Reporting to Chief Executive Officer.
Requirements
- CA(SA)
- Minimum of 7 years’ post-articles experience in commercial environment
- Solid financial and operational management experience
- Initiative and high levels of integrity
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- High levels of business and commercial acumen
