Our ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in the energy industry and has worked for a multinational financial entity. Your expertise is broad, covering the scope of financial controls, audits, system reviews, IFRS, GAAP, tax, reporting, and budgeting in the financial services sector.

Education Requirements
  • Registered CA(SA)
  • Postgraduate application highly advantageous
Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a financial advisory or management role at one of the big 4
  • Gold star if you have experience at a multinational financial institution
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor budget variances
  • Track and analyse asset and business unit performance
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports and dashboards
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify trends for improvement
  • Analyse costs and implement cost control measures
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Collaborate with department heads and provide financial insights
  • Evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions and investments
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts
Skills
  • Excellent grasp of the Microsoft Suite Power BI, Power Query, Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Skilled at Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Highly analytical approach to problem solving
  • Organised and ready to hit the ground running!
