You will report in to the Financial and Regulatory Reporting Manager.
Your Job:
Part of the financial and regulatory reporting team, responsible for the completion/submission of and assistance with:
- Monthly, quarterly and annual submissions to the Prudential Authority and SARB.
- Group reporting of quarterly numbers including actuals and forecast.
- Prepare actual, forecast and planning trial balances.
- ORSSA submission.
- Board and audit committee presentations.
- Prepare the AFS.
- Assistance with the audit and multiple audit queries.
- Newly qualified CA (SA) (advantageous).
- 1+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance accounting environment (advantageous).
- Finance related degree/diploma with work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Very excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
- IFRS17 experience advantageous.
