How Youll Make An Impact
- Manages compliance with accounting standards, general accounting operations and preparation of annual financial statements
- Ensure implementation of approved accounting policies and procedures (internal guidelines and external accounting standards) for assigned organizational unit(s), that match respective legal requirements - (i.e. HGB, IFRS, GAAP).
- Prepare and give training on current as well as new accounting standards
- Support to resolve and give an opinion on technical queries from the business, to ensure compliance with SFRG and local regulations.
- Manage and support external auditors on HBII and HBI (annual financial statements) reporting. Prepare statutory annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP.
- Ensuring compliance with risk and internal controls related to accounting and controlling function. Manage, develop, and coach the SAICA trainees to ensure compliance with the training regulations fulfill the responsibilities assigned.
- Perform reviews to analyze and evaluate assets and liabilities, and stocks, according to Siemens-
- wide or specific business guidelines.
- Manage a team of professionals as well as act as the interface between Accounting and the business.
- Internal CFO, Division and BU Commercials, Accounting Local Department,
- External Auditors, Banks, Service Providers (i.e. Valuator of pension liabilities)
- 1-3 years relevant experience.
- Qualified CA (SA).
- International exposure.
- Deep professional know-how and experience with SFRG.
- Transfers and applies know-how to / in various contexts.
- Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence.
- Able to critically analyze a situation and then to explain the outcome and the rationale for the solution.
- Able to manage and work well in a team.
