Finished Parts Coordinator

Basic Requirements

Formal Tertiary education:
  • Grade 12
  • Logistics/Supply Chain (advantageous)
Languages: English - Read, write and speak (required)

Drivers Licence: Code 8 (required)

Experience
  • 1-2 years experience in logistics/Store operations
  • Experience in automation industry/manufacturing environment preferable.
Job Objectives
  • Ensure that the goals of the department are met or exceeded.
  • Coordinating finished part to Assembly timeously.
  • Ensuring Jendamark standards are being upheld at all times.
Skills And Competencies
  • Maintaining Jendamark processes and continuously working on improvements.
  • Knowledge of and experiencing of working within an ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality system.
  • Positive communication skills Display positive and constructive attitude with in working environment.
  • Sufficiently cope with difficult situations.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Kit completed parts and release to assembly.
  • Corresponding with coordinator on outstanding parts per worksheet.
  • Making sure all parts as per worksheet get signed over to assembly (All parties must sign worksheet).
  • Check that all info on the worksheets has been filled in as per process requirement.
  • All finished parts handed over must be checked and must be visually acceptable as per JMK standard.
  • Keep coordinator informed about upcoming due worksheets.
  • Scanning 100% signed Worksheet/s in for record on the network.
  • Keep coordinators accountable for finishing up worksheets on time (given due date).
  • Make sure all items on given worksheet have passed QC inspection before handing over to assembly.
  • Scan all QC drawings on JMS network before handing parts over to assembly.
  • Responsible for communicating rework or mods to coordinator/s.
  • Pushing coordinators and material handlers to exercise good housekeeping.
