FinOps Agent - Cape Town

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Financial Operations Agent to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, managing supplier payments, and maintaining contract compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and timely invoicing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Accounts Receivables and Payables.
  • Manage supplier payments and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage Customer reconciliations in ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and report on job costing, including revenue and cost tracking.
  • Implement and measure compliance and control processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the business control team to ensure efficient and effective processes.
  • Provide customer support and implementation as needed.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data management.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Strong accounting knowledge related to job costing, revenue, and cost.
  • Experience in the Logistic field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Customer-focused and result-oriented.
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data.
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage.
