Minimum qualifications and requirement
. N2 mechanical (Trade Theory,Maths, Science,Technical Drawing)
. Trade Certificate: Mechanical
. Minimum experience: Laernership programme
. Minimum experience: At least 3 years experience working on underground conveyor belt
. Practice exposure to conveyor belt and mine dewatering systems
. Valid Medical Certificate or medical fitness to obtain such a certificate
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
. General maintenance and proper running of conveyor belt systems
. Performing routine maintenance on dewatering pumps and rock breaker machines
. Enforcing compliance with the MHS Act and regulations on his/her section
. Ensuring that subordinates adhere to all company standards, safe work procedures and compliance with safety
