Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the General Manager is informed of all activities relating to the fleet department.
- Active accurate reporting to the General Manager and Manager within the Northern Region (TDT)
- Requests sent to the General Manager for approval of work to be carried out.
- Following up with suppliers on vehicle repair status.
- Updating of live repair status log.
- Completion of accident report claim forms and following up with drivers for information relating to claims/accidents.
- Updating of mileage spreadsheets and tracking system in order to maintain service reminders.
- Calling suppliers and obtaining repair/service quotes.
- Ensure AOD's are followed up with and signed.
- The following tasks and responsibilities are required but not limited to, assisting and filling in for other duties within the department.
- AD-HOC tasks requested from Management from time to time
- Consolidating reports (fleet, diesel and staff) for Northern Region (TDT)
- Engaging with managers of selected units and assist with administration of budget expenditure .
- Licensing, claims auditing and traffic fines
- Uniform ordering for selected business units.
- Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude; self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Be proficient in Outlook & Excel
- Attention to detail / Analytical
- Take initiative to work smarter (not harder)
- Strong Customer focus (People Skills) Strong administrative skills
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) or National (vocational) Certificate
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- 3-5 years of field experience in Logistics Administration
