What Are We Looking For
We are looking for a detail-oriented, process orientated security administrator to be responsible for mobile, web security, and ensuring security policies are implemented at our organization. The security administrator works independently within the established procedures to ensure security and governance is being followed. Your responsibilities include performing staff training sessions, providing guidance to other staff and ensuring processes are followed.
Are You Someone Who Can
- Represent Information Security in the business area under control at various IT Architecture and or Security committees and forums within First Rand Group.
- Report on mitigating actions required to correct or remedy actions where necessary and inform FRB Governance structures or Business Units of any significant changes and risk situations.
- Consult to projects in terms of identifying risks, vulnerabilities and controls for new developments by researching and understanding security best practices and implementation of security products in a corporate environment.
- Ensure process is followed when remediating vulnerabilities.
- Manage own development to increase own competencies.
- Maintain current knowledge of the Information Systems security industry's emerging technologies.
- Reported on and improved cyber security compliance metrics based on various standards and policies.
- Improved the overall security posture of the business unit, e.g. driving security projects, assisting with solution architecture, providing guidance.
- Identified, tracked and resolved information security-related issues.
- Communication skills to drive results and progress to various stakeholders.
- Engaged with penetration testing vendors for security assessments.
Minimum Experience: 3 5 years experience
- Advanced training certifications may be advantageous.
- A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.
- Good teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
