Minimum Requirements
Head and shoulders photograph together with updated CV in WORD FORMAT
Grade 12 Certificate/Valid South African driver’s licence/Identity document
A degree/diploma in Food and Beverage Management/Hospitality Management
Sound knowledge of SHE procedures and policies pertaining to safety and hygiene
Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel spreadsheets
Ability to work accurately under pressure, striving to improve standards while maintaining budget and gross profit with contactable landline references
3 – 5 years’ work experience in 4/5* establishments
Excellent social and interpersonal skills
Sensitive to cultural issues as well as anticipating guests needs
Well-spoken and well groomed
Police Clearance certificate

Key Responsibilities
Lead, train and organize the Food and Beverage Service Team, operating within the policies and procedures as set out in the operating manual, to the highest standard
Evaluate quality of product, ensuring that an efficient system of storage and issuing of stock is maintained
Remedy and control any shortfalls via relevant ledgers and tight security
Competently handle any industrial relations issues within the Food and Beverage Department
Assist Management in producing budget figures for the Department and ensuring costs are kept within the budgeted levels, still maintaining the highest quality
Oversee all restaurant/bar operations and setting the highest quality of service
