An exciting opportunity has opened for a vibrant, energetic, and experienced F&B Supervisor who will be mainly responsible for jointly managing our busy restaurant outlets ensuring that every one of our guests receive personalised attention every time.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Delighting our guests by offering trendsetting and innovative products and outstanding service experiences.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Restaurant Manager and team
- Assist in achieving operational profitability by driving sales targets and managing costs.
- Setting and maintaining food and beverage standards.
- Conducting regular guest service, menu, sales and standards training with staff so that they can offer world class service to our guests.
- Lead teams of people, encouraging teamwork and personal accountability and thereby promoting staff engagement and retention.
- Managing staff processes such as personal presentation, recruitment, performance and conduct.
- Matric
- A relevant qualification from a recognised South African or International Educational Institution would be advantageous
- At least 2 years current experience in a similar role in a busy, up-market hotel
- Must be flexible and able to work shifts
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications and an interest and experience using various hospitality technology suites
- Neat and professional
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverages including cocktails, wines and spirits
- Product knowledge of hotels, competitors, and the city
