Forklift Driver

FMCG Manufacturer in Devland is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to ensure that all raw materials is loaded and offloaded onto trucks in an efficient, effective and safe manner. To ensure that all raw materials loaded from the stores to the factory is transported safely. To perform visual quality checks on all raw materials stock in the stores. To ensure that pallets used for stacking raw material are in good working conditions. To ensure that all raw materials stock is neatly and safely stacked. Must have 3 years similar experience (driving a forklift and managing raw materials in a manufacturing enviro)

Duties

Assist material assistant with general warehouse duties from receipt of material from supplier, stacking area up to loading of shuttle trucks to the factory.
Daily effective stock count, control and stores maintenance,
Safely moving raw materials using materials handling equipment.
Assisting effective risk management program, including excellent housekeeping and safety standard for company Material Stores.
Assist stores materials assistant and manager with general stores maintenance with regards to raw materials stock and physical maintenance.

Requirements

Matric. Materials handling equipment license.
Must have atleast 3 years working experience in a manufacturing and materials management environment.
Ability to operate materials handling machine effectively.
The ability to effectively drive a Forklift.
Good administration skills.
Good interpersonal skills
Physically fit and able to perform repetitive and strenuous tasks.
Safe work procedures.
