DULUX Paint Dealer based in Somerset Wedst, 11 Dynagel Street, The Interchange, Somerset Mall is looking for a suitable Forklift driver for the warehouse.
Job requirements:
- Qualification: Matric and valid Forklift Licenses on 1) Counter balance Truck and 2) Reach lift truck plus 3 years experience
- Person should be very considerate, responsible and reliable
- Pproven excellent forklift driver’s record
- Candidate must have good communication skills
- Candidates must be energetically and in good health and be able to up - and down load products themselves.
Job responsibilities:
- Pick products according to Picking slips
- Utilise Forklift in picking products and loading of trucks and bakkies
- Assist with the physical loading of products
- Assist with the receiving of stock in the WAREHOUSE and off loading of products and placing them on the correct shelve
- Check that shelves in the warehouse are always fully packed at all times and move products around on shelves to fill gaps, by utilysing the Forflift or do it physically.
- Drive carefully with forklift and adhere to basic safety rules, speed limits and signs in the warehouse.
- Check 2 x Forklift vehicles and execute general inspection on a daily basis in order to report any maintenance as per inspection list Responsible for neatness of the Forklift vehicles as well as cleaning and washing there-of
- Responsible to charge the batteries of both Forklift Vehicles twice a week
- Assist Warehouse Manager with keeping the warehouse neat.
