A renowned international company in Cape Town seeks a freelance PHP Developer for a 3 to 4 month project. They are offering a very good compensation package of R 75,000.00 per R100,000.00 per month (highly negotiable).
Job Responsibilities:
- Integration between existing systems with assistance of relevant team members
- Integration with 3rd party systems with the help of the rest of the team
- Parsing raw data files (pdf, excel, word) into data templates defined by production department or as required by internal systems
- Maintaining and extending existing navite PHP developed APIs (REST and SOAP)
- Adapting to in-house software methodology
- Document and system and module design, analysis, planning
- Implementation of modern and efficient design and development best practice
- Technical maintenance and development of current and future software
- Development of responsive web applications and apps based on technical specification prepared by and/ or senior staff
- Research and evaluation of modern web technology trends and implementation thereof
- Testing and debugging of software in controlled environments; Software performance analysis and optimization
- Report definition and writing
Job Spec:
- 3 - 6 years PHP experience
- Linux
- Apache
- MySQL
- Basic MongoDB knowledge
- PHP
- JQuery
- Javascript
- CSS
- HTML / 5 Subversion
- Back-end as well as front-end experience. (Full stack developer)
- Bootstrap knowledge beneficial
- REST/SOAP knowledge beneficial
- PhoneGap knowledge beneficial
