Our client a group of companies in one, is looking for a Financial Controller based in Sandton Gauteng with 1-2 years post SAICA articles & signoff experience. You need proper, auditing, review, analyst, financial Controlling and reporting experience. You need completed SAICA articles. Recently qualified CA's welcome to apply. Its not a financial service client. The analysis also allows for drivers of financial information to be identified, areas of weakness or improvements to be identified and action plans to be implemented.

Completed SAICA articles
1-2 years POST SAICA experience in a similar position
Financial Controlling experience
Experience working on Evolve a bonus but not a must
Completing Audit files and yearly audits with auditors
Budgeting and forecasting experience needed
Responsibilities
Management Accounting experience essential
Financial Controlling, Management Accounting, process control monitoring and implementation
Review all financial information, taking time to analyze numbers.
Identifying drivers of certain transactions, and dependencies of transactions on other numbers within a set of financial information.
Identifying areas of over and underspend and being able to translate this data and information to presentable figures for senior management to understand.
Review key financial indicators on a day-to-day basis based on information recorded and produced by the various finance teams at each location within the group.
Ensure the accurate recording of financial information, accurate reporting from Evolve, and accurate stock information is provided to all levels of management
To ensure value in the growth opportunities, the financial controller will need to be actively involved in the day-to-day accounting of all projects related to the group.
This will vary from new projects in commercial property to new investments.
Ensure accurate recording of day-to-day transactions.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Ensure controls are being adhered to by performing spot checks throughout the month.
Report back to the financial director on shortfalls within the control environment.
Perform process activities documentation for each operation within each department and each location of the business.
