Our client is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team,
- Oversee the day-to-day front-of-house operations, including seating arrangements and guest flow.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of the dining area.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and back-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and service.
- Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff,
- Develop and maintain staff schedules to meet business needs.
- Monitor and manage inventory related to front-of-house supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary items.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Requirements- Grade 12
- Proven experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Valid drivers license and own transport
- Must be willing to work one week morning shift and the next week afternoon shift
