FTC Data Scientist

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, and analysing large amounts of data to develop insights and recommendations that will drive decision-making across the organisation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Process large amounts of data from various sources including SQL and TimbrAI.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyse large datasets and extract meaningful patterns and trends.
• Develop and implement predictive models to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data-driven interventions and recommend changes as needed.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and statistical modelling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or MSc degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist
• Proficient in data analysis and machine learning libraries including Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with human resource data, capital expenditure data, and commercial analytics.
• Familiarity working with Databricks and medallion architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy machine learning models in a production environment.
