A Fintech company in Rondebosch requires a Functional Automation Tester to join them to work on a project for a corporate Financial Services company. Minimum 3 years’ experience in manual and automation testing, some Testing qualification, development experience in C# or SQL, and Postman experience will be required. Experience in the Financial Services industry and an Agile environment. This is a Contract role!
Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing - manual and automation testing
- Creation of Test Cases
- Conduct testing on new versions of our Core platform
- Replication of bugs found at customer sites and in-house, using step by step procedure to ensure bug fixing, and produce related documentation for projects and development team
- Logging defects in the bug tracking system, logging results of testing
- Assist with creation and updating of documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree or related work experience
- Minimum of 3+ Years of Testing Experience
- Testing Qualification (EG ISTQB Foundation or equivalent)
- Financial Services experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience in C# or SQL is a requirement
- Experience with Postman is required
