Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant degree in Marketing, Media, Public Relations, Communications etc.
- Experience completing grant applications
- Previous experience working with fundraising and NGO's advantageous
- Valid drivers license
- Strong admin and communication skills
- Presentable
- Accurately and efficiently record and allocate receipts of income as per donor.
- Accurately and efficiently record all in donations and obtain supporting documentation in line with SARS requirement.
- Respond to donors queries.
- Managing the administration of the NPO's good practices which include newsletters, website content, appeals for support and final distribution when approved.
- Meet pre determined income targets.
- Researching grant opportunities, developing and submitting grant proposals to donors who offer crucial funding support to support the organization.
- Draw up a yearly list of all grant and scheduled deadlines for submission.
- Complete funding applications, follow up timeously, and include in a monthly report.
- Stay up to date with regulations/legislation regarding NPO/NPC.
- Provide a turnkey solution to business to obtain B-BEEE points.
- Organize two fundraising events per annum
