We are looking for a Software Developer Level 2 to join our Game Evolution Team in South Africa. Game Evolution is a strategic technology team focused on kicking off internal products and services for Games Global. It is a cross-functional team involved in finding out how to properly execute the development new products and solve challenging problems for the business with quality in mind.
As an Intermediate level Developer, you will independently analyse, design, and create software that meet specified requirements of up and coming products and services. This involves closely following established team standards and enhancing best practices while actively collaborating with team members.
This is a fulltime onsite role based in Durban or Cape Town.
This is a perfect opportunity for agile developers who are creative problem solvers and hungry for continuous learning.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Designs, develops, and maintain software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct research on development on new technologies that would best suit new products within the business.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement through various technologies.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, driving their adoption where appropriate to enhance the organization's technological capabilities.
- Research and prototype of new tools and technologies, including required technical documentation.
Who Were Looking For
- 3 to 5 years working experience as a software developer.
- Experience in C# is highly advantageous.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in utilizing design patterns and OOP principles.
- Creative problem solver
- Hungry for growth and new knowledge.
- We are NOT looking for an expert in a certain programing language. Rather, we are looking for an Agile Developer who sees these programing languages as tools in solving challenging problems.
