Garsfontein, Pretoria: ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT (INSURANCE INDUSTRY BOUND)

Minimum Requirements:

-Afrikaans speaking individual

-Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans and English (First & second languages)

-Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics as a passed subject

-Tertiary qualification in Insurance (AISA, FPI, RE1, RE5) or working experience in Life- and Short term Insurance A MUST (KEY REQUIREMENT)

-Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

-Must be able to work under pressure

-Effective communication skills, written and verbal

-Good negotiation skills

-Assertive attitude (Strong but friendly)

-Strong organizational and planning skills, with ability to meet deadlines

-Able to prioritize tasks

-Good mathematical skills to calculate interest rates, balances due etc.

-Experience and understanding of bank statements and salary statements

-Stable employment record

-Seeking long term career opportunity with company

-To start as soon as possible

Must have working experience in any of the following:

-Short term or Long term Insurance industry

-Brokerage company or insurance company (with duties Sales, Quotations, arrange finance, obtaining of information and updating of policies, Insurance call centre)

-Banking Call Centre (insurance)

Duties:

-Administration function for Insurance Department

-Written and verbal communication with clients in both Afrikaans and English

-Handle general inquiries

-Client liaison with new and existing clients

-Obtain information from clients for quotations

-Updating of portfolios, manage and forward applications for issuing

-Prioritize tasks regarding electronic filing, data capturing, updating of electronic activities, client inquiries, product queries, drafting of job cards and industry related documents

-Calculate interest rates, balances due etc.

Salary: R 7 500.00 – R 10 000.00 gross (Depending on experience)

(Higher salary will only be considered if justified by relevant experience, directly related to debt counselling administration)
