Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials or products.
- Ensure that the workspace or job site is kept clean and safe. This includes sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help tradespeople (such as carpenters, electricians, or plumbers) with their tasks by providing tools, materials, or assistance.
- Load and unload materials or goods from trucks, pallets, or containers.
- Use basic tools or machinery, such as forklifts, drills, or other equipment (with proper training and certification if needed).
- Follow all safety regulations and wear protective gear (PPE) to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
- Manage and restock supplies or materials as needed and ensure that they are stored properly.
- Communicate any issues with equipment, materials, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Assist in other general tasks around the workplace as required, ensuring that operations run smoothly.
