We are looking to employ a dynamic General Manager go take control of the property and all its individual departments
Requirements:
. Relevant diploma and/or 2-3 years’ experience in a Senior role
. Proficient in Office Suite and Email
. Exceptional Guest Relations skills
. Ability to manage staff
. Understanding and ability to manage the different departments
. Ability to plan ahead and problem solve
. Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control
Staff Management
-Wage costs and staff welfare
-Staff discipline
-Staff training
Financial
-Budget control and ensuring budgets are maintained
-Stock control and stock takes
-Maintain the correct allocations of expenditures
Rooms Division
-Manage the housekeeping, maintenance and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD
-Ensure the hotel maintains the required standards aesthetically
Food and Beverage, Events and Kitchen
-Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard
-Assist with Events planning and execution
-Assist with menu planning and cost control
Operations
-DM shifts
Ensure daily, weekly and monthly meetings take place
