The ideal candidate will come from a Mining and/or Engineering background.

- Relevant qualification e.g. B Eng/ Mining/ Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ similar (MBA is highly advantageous)
- Proven experience within the mining industry in a similar senior management role (e.g. GM/ Mine Manager etc.)
- Experience within Chrome and/or Platinum mining operations
- Extensive experience with contractors and stakeholder relations (DMRE, Communities, local municipalities, SAPS, etc.)
- A working knowledge of Mining right requirements and compliance
- Solid understanding of the relevant legislation including MRPDA, MH&SA, LRA, BCEA, EE, SDA etc.
- Hands on, results driven, passionate professional with solid leadership and strategic thinking skills
