General Sales Manager (Festive)

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
  • Developing and Leading an efficient sales force.
  • Growing solid relationships and a profitable share of customers.
  • Compiling the annual sales budget.
  • Responsible for compiling and achieving weekly forecasts.
  • Achievement of Sales KPIs.
  • Ability to develop new sales strategies and implement them.
  • Regular customer visits and meetings.
  • Analyse sales data and statistics to determine the most effective sales strategies.
  • Monitor customer preferences and performance to develop a focused sales plan.
  • Project sales and evaluate the sales potential and overall profitability of the company's products and services.
  • Determine discounts or special pricing of products and services.
  • Attending annual trading terms meetings with Retailers.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • The successful candidate must have a relevant Degree or Diploma with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and a high degree of self-motivation are key Requirements.
  • Good communication skills are vital in this role (for both internal and external customers).
  • The successful candidate must manage various aspects of key customer accounts, and coordinate and motivate the sales team on-site.
  • The successful candidate must be a strategic thinker who can assist the COO to maximise market potential.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
  • Strong mathematical skills and knowledge.
  • Strategic planning and analysis skills.
  • Basic understanding of the 20 Keys concept is essential.
  • Converse fluently in both English & an additional official language.
