PURPOSE
Preparing faulty equipment to be repaired in Rework Centre by pre-testing, stripping down and cleaning the relevant modules. Occasional help with packaging of repaired equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect faulty equipment from Vendor Management.
- Segregate early life failures and bad on fittings and assign to correct areas of responsibility.
- Pre-Test faulty equipment and attaching the fault report and Repair order to the module.
- Strip down the faulty equipment and clean all the relevant small parts on the module.
- Move the stripped unit on to the shelfs allocated for the relevant Repair Engineers to be repaired.
- Collect and package repaired equipment from Engineers workstations.
- Ensure equipment is correctly packaged with the specific packaging as prescribed by the OEM.
- Repackaging of equipment required after quality check has been conducted.
- Perform final checks on packaging as outlined on checklist before handing over to Central Distribution Warehouse.
- General housekeeping of the cleaning and packaging area.
- Complete own training and development objectives as per agreed timelines in the personal development plan.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed according to the company requirement.
