General Worker

Our client in the Transport and Logistics Industry is looking for a General Worker to join their performance driven team. If you meet the below requirements, do not hesitate to send your CV for consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials or products.
• Ensure that the workspace or job site is kept clean and safe. This includes sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
• Help tradespeople (such as carpenters, electricians, or plumbers) with their tasks by providing tools, materials, or assistance.
• Load and unload materials or goods from trucks, pallets, or containers.
• Use basic tools or machinery, such as forklifts, drills, or other equipment (with proper training and certification if needed).
• Follow all safety regulations and wear protective gear (PPE) to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Manage and restock supplies or materials as needed and ensure that they are stored properly.
• Communicate any issues with equipment, materials, or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist in other general tasks around the workplace as required, ensuring that operations run smoothly.
