Role Responsibilities
- Engage/participate in the full spectrum of geometric and drainage design - from conceptual to final design.
- Design co-ordination, perform and oversee drafting.
- Develop specifications and bills of quantities.
- Prepare reports required by the project development.
- Full project management responsibilities for related design projects
- Engage with the client on project related matters.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight.
- Ability to interpret and communicate information of a complex technical nature.
- Able to learn and to develop new skills and workflows for new digital tools.
- Transfer knowledge and skills to junior engineers/modellers and the team.
- BEng/BSc/BTech degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 3 years Road (Geometric) design experience gained in a consulting environment.
- Road signs and road markings design.
- Knowledge of SARTSM, COTO specifications.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AUTOCAD.
- Sound project design and deliverable management experience.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
- Scripting in Dynamo and experience in BIM360/ACC would be advantageous.
