Regional Head of Supply - SAMEA - Your future role?

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain for SAMEA, this role is based in either Pune, October City or Johannesburg. You will lead the Supply Planning operations at a regional level. You will lead the deployment of regional Supply Planning programs for the region to improve and balance of cost and quality of customer services.
Your main responsibilities:
- Strategy Influence: Provide essential Supply Planning inputs to the Regional Operations business plans and help design the regional Supply Chain strategy. Implement the Supply Planning strategy within the region and capacity modeling and leveling. Contribute to the design of tactical and operational plans and policies to meet regional Supply Chain goals. Identify and improve programs to achieve and exceed targeted service levels and costs. Lead change resulting from continuous improvement and supply chain projects.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor service level to achieve customer satisfaction, and lead plans associated with regional S&OP processes. Follow market evolution/trends of service and costs within Supply Planning. Implement changes triggered by Regional Supply Chain Management projects in the region. Provide leadership for Supply Planning activities for regional sites, co manufacturing partners and strategic direction for acquired companies. Lead projects for inventory management and reduction in operational write offs for capital improvements.
- Mentor and Develop: Oversee the deployment of training programs for Supply Planning staff to strengthen capabilities. Develop a regional candidate pipeline and guide the development and promotion of Supply Planning talent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business, or relevant industry
- 12 + years of experience in Supply Chain or related field
- Experience with large ERP system(s) and SAP desirable
- Six Sigma/ Lean Green Belt certificate helpful
- Certified CSCP/CPIM helpful
