- The role reports into the businessPresident and CEO portfolio and forms part of the broader Strategy and Sustainability Function.
- The incumbent will play a key role in constantly adapting and positively positioning and repositioning the business Group in the ESGS disclosure and reporting landscape, thereby increasing the business investment attractiveness and reputation to investors and other stakeholders. In so doing, the role will be required to play an expert influencing, advising and strategic role with respect to ESGS disclosure and reporting and assist with Group Safety review and Implementation.
- Relevant post Graduate Honours Degree is a must with a master's as being highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001
- Professional ESGS registration and certifications will be advantageous
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience with Sustainability including Climate Action Experience, ESGS and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) (preferably in the chemical, fertilizer, petrochemical, and mining industry).
- Minimum 8 years management experience of which 5 years should have been at Senior Management level.
- Proven leadership qualities, general management skills and the ability to function at a strategic level.

- Excellent financial and business acumen, multifunctional expertise, and high-quality interface management skills.

- Coordinating reporting and disclosures on sustainability across the Group and to ensure group wide ESGS tracking, performance analysis and reporting (against Functional game plan, objectives, and targets).
- Setting, monitoring, and reporting on the short term ESGS targets and ensure accurate disclosure across the Group.
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing procedures and processes for ESGS reporting requirements within Foskor.
- Staying abreast of potential changes for ESGS reporting requirements and advise and interpret local, regional, and global trends in the external ESGS reporting landscape.
- Thereby pre-empting reporting requirement changes proactively positively position THE BUSINESS where possible.
- Playing an expert and strategic role in interacting with, influencing, and shaping ESGS reporting and disclosure dialogue in the relevant professional community/ides, and interest groups at local, regional, and global level; and
- Providing expert guidance on continuously strategically positioning within the ESGS Reporting and Disclosure landscape as not only a responsive but also a socially active corporate citizen.
- Design social impact program, oversight and implementation at group level leveraging internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage the effectiveness of the divisions reporting processes and the quality of the disclosures in the reports to the relevant Statutory Boards.
- Accountability in prompting innovation and enhancing market differentiation and competitiveness by creating a deeper understanding of climate changes and other factors influencing Environmental conditions.
