Learning Sandbox | Full-Time Graphic Designers Wanted

We are looking for highly talented full-time Graphic Designers to join the growing Learning Sandbox team. 

Learning Sandbox is an education technology consultancy based in Cape Town, South Africa. The heartbeat of our business is producing bespoke digital content while also offering strategic, pedagogical and digital asset research, design and production services.

Youll be responsible for injecting life into our digital content with your graphic design skills. Youll be working as a part of a larger content creation team, ensuring the visual content we produce is attention-grabbing and of high quality. We want creative pioneers, who live outside the box and settle for nothing less than excellence. New graduates are welcome! 

The basics:

• Remuneration: Market-Related 
• Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Job level: Junior to Mid level (depending on experience)
• Reports to: Graphics Team Lead and co-leads 
• Location: Hybrid. Remote first, with the option of coming into our shared office space in Constantia, Cape Town
• Company: Learning Sandbox
• Start date: ASAP 2023

Responsibilities:

• Designing graphics that adhere to brand and style guidelines
• Liaising and collaborating with the broader creative team 
• Delivering designs on deadline
• Keeping yourself updated on graphic design developments and trends
• Being able to accurately interpret briefs and stay on brand, while not being afraid to pitch a new perspective
• Communicating updates on multiple platforms
• Creating innovative graphics that are accurate to the content
• Researching certain aspects of a brief
• Adapting quickly between different assets and projects
• Assisting in briefs and mock ups

Requirements:

• Qualification in a relevant field. New graduates are welcome!
• Practical experience in a digital design field
• Good problem solving skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Willingness to work remotely 
• Comfortable with working on multiple tasks at the same time
• Ability to work with Adobe Illustrator and other adobe products
• You will be required to upload a Portfolio of work to be considered for this role. 

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Apple products
• Familiarity with the Google Suite, Slack and Asana

Must be eligible for employment in South Africa.
