Expanding design focussed business in East Johannesburg is seeking a “real” graphic designer to create new and unique IDs.
Job requirements:
- Cut and paste technicians need not apply.
- As part of a dynamic design team the successful candidate will be mandated to project manage and carry out the development of THINKDESIGN’s subsidiary’s brand and digital face.
- Potential for contract to become full-time position
- The ideal candidate should be presentable and professional in their approach to their mandate
- Be self-motivated and work to set timeline
- Demonstrate the ability to take direction
- Min 5 years experience
- Have traceable references and / or portfolio of work
- Be in love with their art
- Show an appreciation for heritage
- Enjoy traditional graphic skills – hand sketching, prototyping etc
- Show attention to detail
- Be willing to work with their own hardware and digital tools.
- work on site at THINKDESIGN’s office.
- Key developments;
- Corporate ID’s for 3 design entities each to include:
- The traditional stuff – logos fonts and formats, cards, letterheads etc
- Digital stuff – websites, social media, MS office elements, presentation templates
- Bonus skills – 3D modelling and animation
- Contact duration estimated 3months
- Contract value: negotiable - dependant on experience
