Looking for a Group EE Consultant in Johannesburg.
Job responsibilities:
- Under general direction, plans, organizes, and advise on Employment Equity (EE) function with an emphasis on equal employment opportunity activities within the Phumelela Group.
- The Group EE Consultant is responsible for ensuring compliance for all Group Companies with the EE Act, No 55 of 1998 (as amended) by ensuring implementation and monitoring of EE Plans across the Group.

Job responsibilities:
- Ensures that labour disputes and grievances are minimized by developing and maintaining effective procedures and ensuring adequate communications between management and employees for the Group.
- Responsible for monitoring compliance with appropriate industrial legislation. Monitors industrial relations indicators e.g. number of disputes, grievances and recommends corrective action.
- Ensures that correct procedures are followed during all Labour Relations related procedures.
- This position performs an IR function in accordance with employment practices and relevant labour legislation; and company policies and procedures.
- The incumbent acts as the specialist advisor on IR related issues.
- Tertiary qualification in Industrial Relations / Employee Relations essential.
- A tertiary qualification in HR Management or Industrial Psychology advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
