A large very well established family run business which is growing is seeking a Qualified Group Finance Manager to join their Management team. A relaxed but professional environment with high standards.
- Must be qualified CA (SA)
- 7 years post article Financial Management experience and a minimum of 3 years management experience at Senior Management level Key Technical Competencies
- Financial and corporate governance knowledge (Companies Act, IFRS for SME's, tax legislation, basic legal knowledge)
- Ensure efficient financial information systems are in place and financial reporting is aligned with group reporting requirements.
- Implement the accounting processes and controls within the finance function (e.g. Fixed assets, stock, debtors, loans, creditors, VAT and cashbook.)
- Manage the budget and forecast process via interface with operational financial managers
- Control the group cashflow to ensure operational requirements is supported
- Maintain the necessary banking facilities in collaboration with the various banking institutions
- Implement audit requirements and processes to ensure that a timeous and effective audit is performed
- Monitor and ensure best practice processes are in place to ensure compliance with Income Tax legislation and BBBEE regulation
