Group Finance Manager

Our client, a dynamic and growing on-road logistics company is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager. As a leader in their field, they are committed to providing excellent service to clients and are looking for someone who is equally committed to delivering quality financial management.

Responsibilities

M will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including but not limited to

Reporting to the Group MD, the Group F.

Interaction with SARS
Prepare and submit VAT and EMP201 submissions
Inventory management
Reporting in accordance with IFRS for SMEs
Technical accounting experience
Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including processing of journals and inventory management
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements
Provide timely and accurate financial information
Manage the company's cash flow and budgeting process
Liaise with auditors and other external stakeholders as required
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, and make recommendations for improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a minimum of 2 years post SAICA or SAIPA articles experience in a similar environment.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
