RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collate monthly flash reports from group stores and prepare summary reports
- Process monthly consolidation and group journals
- Prepare consolidated trial balance
- Prepare monthly management pack
- Prepare monthly management accounts for Support Office
- Prepare monthly management reports for the group and Support Office
- Prepare monthly Group Tax Asset roll-forward
- Prepare quarterly accounting pack schedules
- Prepare quarterly tax packs
- Prepare quarterly audit schedules
- Prepare year-end accounting and tax packs
- Keep group insurance claims register
- Responsible for compilation of annual insurance declaration
- Update bank account mandates
- Group liaison for online banking
- Design and implement new management reports for the group through IT systems
- REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Newly qualified CA (SA)
- Tertiary qualification: B.Com/B. Compt accounting degree or similar with completed SAICA Articles
- Report writing & Management accounting skills required
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of and interest in the use of IT systems
