Group Head of Finance

A leading, and established, provider of clean energy solutions (principally solar), based in Sandton, Gauteng, is looking for a Group Head of Finance to oversee all financial activities of the organisation, and have strategic input into present and future solar projects. The role is hands - on, as well as being strongly strategic, and you will work closely with the CEO to ensure project feasibility, and optimal contract negotiations.

Roles And Responsibilities

Verify and approve all accounting and financial transactions.
Monthly, quarterly, annual management reporting packs..
Forecasting and budgeting.
Drive and streamline internal controls and processes, and perform ad - hoc internal audits.
Overseeing AP process, and ensuring creditors paid as per agreed terms.
Audit oversight, and AFS preparation..
SARS compliance (VAT; PAYE; Income Tax)..
Payroll oversight and approval.
Stock management and optimisation.
Insurance and asset management.
Determine most optimal funding mechanisms for projects.

Desired Qualifications And Experience

You will be a CA(SA), or CGMA.
At least 3 years experience in a senior financial management position..
You will have sound decision making skills; be very results oriented, and have exceptional time - management skills..
XERO and WD7 experience strongly advantageous.
