Group Project Manager

To oversee and coordinate multiple projects across CHGs network of hospitals to ensure that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration or business management or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5 7 Years of experience in similar.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Technical proficiency with project management software and tools.
Minimum Work Experience
  • Provide a business performance management framework for project management (information, processes, roles and responsibilities) which ensures issues are highlighted and actions are taken as required
  • Develop and embed PMO policies and standards for the Group and ensure compliance
  • Develop and implement an annual project planning strategy that aligns with CHGs strategic goals, coordinating with senior management to prioritise projects, and develop comprehensive plans with timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and contingencies
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders to support project success and address any issues promptly
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place for critical project components
  • Ensure the efficient use of hospital resources to optimize project outcomes
  • Ensure projects adhere to healthcare industry regulations and standards, including [National Health Act, Health Professions Act, Medical Schemes Act] guidelines, and other relevant compliance requirements
  • Address stakeholder concerns proactively and ensure their needs are met to maintain their support and ensure project outcomes align with their expectations
  • Continuously monitor project financial performance against plans and budgets, identifying variances and taking corrective actions as needed to maintain financial sustainability and accountability
  • Develop a budget aligned with tactical delivery plans to ensure adequate financial resources for healthcare operations
  • Research, compile, and present business intelligence for management decisions and strategic support
