An enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking OT is required at a well-established practice in Berea. The practice currently services two nearby private hospitals and a private school. The position is available from 01 October 2016 and will be a half day (preferably afternoons) position. Flexi-hours can be negotiated.
Experience in main stream school based paediatrics is essential as the therapist will start with a paediatric caseload. An interest in sensory integration would be beneficial. The therapist will also be required to manage a caseload of mostly neuro in-patients and should therefore be confident in the assessment and treatment of patients with both physical and cognitive conditions. Splinting experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
The therapist should have good report-writing and communication skills. The therapist should be able to work independently and be willing to travel. Remuneration is commission based and dependent on experience.
