Operational Delivery
Co-ordinates and performs maintenance on all Air-Conditioning, and general building
maintenance.
- Ensures optimal performance of all, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems.
- Compiles and presents technical reports on all services.
- Proposes solutions to problems identified.
- Provides corrective recommendations on a proactive basis as required.
- Checks and monitors compliance of the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with regard to,
- Drives the BMS system to ensure optimal building performance.
- Ensure that all jobs are carried out in a safe and competent manner.
- Clean-up work area on completion of a job
- Ensure the workshop is kept clean and clear at all times
- Ensure that all Work Orders are completed prior to submission to the relevant Manager.
- Proactively log any technical maintenance issues you identify at the TFS Helpdesk
- Tools are to be looked after and maintained in a good working condition.
- Carry out any duties as required and instructed by your direct line manager.
- Undertake documented inspections, as notified by your Manager.
- Undertake proactive quality inspections of the site and log any issues identified with the TFS
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks
- Undertake proactive and reactive maintenance tasks and repairs
- Carry out inspections in relation to OHS Act requirements and ensure all work is carried out
- Escort and oversee sub-contractors where necessary and ensure all works are carried out
- Ensure all sub-contractors leave the area in a clean and tidy state when the work is
Generic Objectives
Ensure that Best Operating Practice is applied when undertaking tasks or repairs.
- Complete and issue time sheets to the relevant services Supervisor on a weekly basis.
- Assist in keeping the workshop tidy and presentable.
- All maintenance tasks to be checked and signed off by the relevant services Supervisor to
- Undertake planned maintenance tasks allocated by the relevant services Supervisor.
- Assess requirement for spares and consumables and request from stores.
- All equipment and services are restored timeously and perform according to specifications.
- Undertake reactive maintenance tasks in response to helpdesk calls and as directed by
SO 9001; 14001 & 18001 Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards
- Adhere to the TFSs Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management Systems Policies & Procedures of as applicable to this position.

- Grade12
- NQF Level 4 technical qualification with trade papers
- Minimum 5 years technical (HVAC) experience in a similar environment
