Position: Head Chef (JB1372)
A new and upcoming exclusive restaurant in a popular Golf Estate is seeking a mature Head Chef to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years experience as Head Chef and have the ability to manage a team effortlessly.
Responsibilities:
Staff Management
Stock Control
Managing cleaning and maintenance
Food quality controls and system management
Must be able to manage and coordinate a busy kitchen operation.
Must have the ability to run a pass.
Strong analytical skills needed
The main focus will be food preparation and food quality control.
Ensure preparation, quality control, plating and presentation are of high quality.
Must have experience in all types of food delivery.
Able to train and manage staff.
Be actively involved in the day to day preparations and lead by example.
Knowledge of food safety systems and implementation thereof.
Strong planning skills
General knowledge of front of house
Minimum Requirements:
Strong general knowledge of food and kitchen management procedures
Minimum years experience as Head Chef
Must have the ability to run a pass
Computer literate
Strong culinary knowledge and skills
Valid drivers license with own transport
Valid and relevant completed degree
