As the Head of Customer Analytics in MFC, this role is responsible for:
- Formulation of the customer strategy utilising data analytics.
- Regular reporting and performance measurement of customer strategy initiatives.
- Utilising data analytics to grow the in-force book (across multiple product platforms) while driving cross-sell and retention.
- Formulation and execution of a compelling data strategy that will support and propel the delivery of the business strategy.
- Customer Metrics Management (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Reporting)
- Modelling of customer persistency, policy persistency per customer cohort and commensurate profitability trends.
- Bedding down Product-Channel Philosophy modelling products, product features and impact on VNB.
- Modelling of next best action cross-sell and retention initiatives for customers taking into account impact on Retention and Profitability.
- Product overlay per customer typology/CVP.
- Product feature overlay per channel.
- Overlay of product profitability at a feature level.
- Product mandate and mix per channel taking into account growth vs VNB trade-offs.
- VNB analysis per product feature and channel.
- Cross-sell strategy taking into account customer persistency and profitability of different product holding combinations.
- Analysis of current Product Mix per Customer typology vs aspirational Product Mix.
- Enhancement of customer outcomes and value.
- End-to-end analysis of the value chain with a view to driving down the cost per policy.
- Quantification of cost to sell and cost to serve.
- Input into Business Plans on driving down the cost per policy.
- Derivation of Market Share and Market Penetration statistics.
- Conduct of Business Return (CBR)
- Translation of customer strategy into specific channel opportunities and /or mandates as well as market management rules.
- Development of tools and or links to facilitate changes in payment methods (e.g. changes in Stop Order markets).
- Degree in Actuarial Science
- 7 years or more Industry experience as an Actuary/Actuarial
- Insurance and Actuarial expertise
