Responsibilities
- Leading and managing a team of engineers to ensure the successful execution of solar and storage projects.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance throughout all project phases, from design and sizing to implementation and maintenance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
- Conducting feasibility studies, evaluating technical risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for solar installations.
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet project goals and deliverables.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact for technical discussions and inquiries.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in solar technologies and industry best practices, and applying that knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent. Master is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in solar project design and sizing of medium-sized and utility-scale projects.
- Excellent knowledge of solar project development dynamics in the "C&I" and "utility-scale" segments.
- Strong project management skills and a focus on delivering results.
- Thorough understanding of solar technologies, battery technologies, and proficiency in solar project sizing tools. Knowledge in other technologies is a plus.
