Are you a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years of post-article experience? We are actively seeking a talented individual who will report to the COO and be responsible for leading the finance department as the Head of Finance within our dynamic financial services company.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• CA qualification with 2-3 years of post-article experience.
• Proven track record in tax calculation and submissions, including dividend withholding tax.
• Proficient in essential software tools, including the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Exchange).
• Demonstrated strong and current technical skills.

In this pivotal role as the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of financial activities, ensuring precision and timely reporting. Your core responsibilities encompass:

• Lead daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidate financial results.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and manage cash flows effectively.
• Review and approve invoices for accuracy.
• Manage the annual audit process and prepare financial statements.
• Supervise insurance policies and renewals.
• Calculate and complete tax returns, including annual and provisional tax.
• Maintain CIPC records and authorise payments.
• Provide timely information to management as needed.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks in the finance department and support budget compilation.
• Gathering and preparing information for the annual BEE verification process
