To oversee the efficient and effective delivery of finance related services and processes across the Group. This role involves centralising and streamlining financial operations, transaction processing, reporting, and support functions to enhance operational excellence and contribute to the achievement of the Groups financial goals. Develop and implement the strategic vision, goals, and objectives of the Finance Shared Services function in alignment with the overall Groups strategy.
Minimum Requirements
- A (SA) or Masters in Finance/Business/Economics/ and/or related Postgraduate qualification
- 10+ years post articles experience in finance leadership roles, including experience in shared services or financial operations management
- Ability to work with external & internal audit to ensure sufficient controls are in place.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and technology-driven process optimisation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, synthesize insights, and conduct scenario analysis
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, financial operations, risk management, and compliance requirements
- Thorough and detailed understanding of IFRS and other relevant accounting / financial reporting standards such as:
JSE regulations and FSCA regulations.
Proficiency in navigating and interpreting banking regulations such as
SARB regulations

- Identify and implement efficiencies in shared service environment.
- Oversight of the shared service finance business partner team to ensure they can provide financial and strategic guidance to the division.
- Taking full ownership and accountability for the Group budget and forecasting process to ensure timeous delivery.
- Ability to manage change, lead teams, and drive continuous improvement
- Motivate and inspire team to increase productivity.
- Articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner with diverse audiences
- Collaborative and cross-functional mindset to work effectively with various teams and business units
