Your key job responsibilities as the Head of Marketing (iGaming) in Johannesburg will include:
- Develop the brand positioning, values, and messaging that are unique and differentiated, encompassing strategic growth areas
- Build and lead high-performing marketing team passionate about product marketing, social/community, and creative, ensuring strong coverage across all key areas
- Define and oversee the execution of marketing strategy for new launches with multi-channel touch points, and in new jurisdictions
- Increase engagement and monetisation through messaging strategy, promotions strategy, and incentives program, encouraging player retention
- Lead large cross-functional teams and drive decisions informed by data
- A proven background working in senior level marketing across multiple channels within the iGaming sector
- Proven track record in overseeing significant paid marketing spend
- Experienced managing a marketing P&L
- Experience growing marketing strategy from the ground floor up
- Experience managing/leading teams
- Background in online gaming industry
- Experience in a fast-moving consumer facing industry working in targeted/database marketing, driving strategies across channels
- Understanding of methodologies used in CRM, such as customer segmentation, targeting, incremental performance reporting and variant testing
- Product and sports backgrounds are highly preferred
